TEGNA has named Dean Ditmer president and GM of its Phoenix, Az. NBC affiliate KPNX.
“Dean has an outstanding track record of sales success and his vision, leadership and inventiveness will fit right in at KPNX and within the Phoenix community,” said evp and CEO of TEGNA Media Lynn Beall. “His passion for empowering clients, customers and consumers is contagious and we look forward to him bringing that mindset to KPNX.”
Ditmer comes from TEGNA’s Denver NBC affiliate KUSA where he’s led the sales team since 2012. He’s also worked at WKEF and WRGT in Dayton, Ohio, WCCO in Minneapolis, KPIX in San Francisco, WNCN in Raleigh, WKEF and WHIO in Dayton.
