Tammy Elliott Returns to Green Bay Airwaves

By Chris Ariens

Last September WFRV Channel 5 anchor Tammy Elliott said, “I’ve always put family first. Right now I’ve chosen to step back in my career to devote more time to my other career–being a mom.” So she left the CBS affiliate in Green Bay.

Now, the Green Bay Press-Gazette is reporting Elliott is stepping back in and returning to TV down the street at ABC affiliate WBAY. Starting Wednesday, Elliott will co-anchor the morning show with longtime anchor Kevin Rompa.

Elliott began her career at WFRV as an intern and worked her way up to main anchor. She decamped for four years to Milwaukee ABC station WISN, before returning to Channel 5.
