Sun Setting on WNBC Daytime Show ‘New York Live’

WNBC daytime lifestyle show “New York Live,” which has undergone several format and talent changes since debuting in 2009, will sign off for good this fall.

The Daily News reports that the show, currently hosted by Sara Gore, Jane Hanson, and Jacque Reid, will be cancelled later this year and will likely be replaced by a new syndicated talk show.

“After a good run, New York Live will be going off the air in the fall,” a WNBC spokesperson told TVSpy today. “We have not yet made the decision as to what programming will take that time slot.”

Last year, “New York Live,” which is produced by LX.TV, was bumped to 3:00 p.m. to make way for a 5 o’clock newscast that it had effectively replaced.
