Stacey Cameron has announced he’ll be joining San Antonio NBC affiliate WOAI.
“Well it’s official. I’m off to Texas and WOAI News 4 San Antonio,” Cameron wrote on his facebook page. “While I will miss Kansas City, I am incredibly excited to make the to move to a station committed to meaningful investigative journalism.”
Cameron said he’d been hired as one of the station’s lead investigative reporters and will “work as an old school ‘watchdog reporter’ holding government and corporate wrongdoers accountable.”

According to Bottom Line Communications, Cameron left KCTV in January when his contract wasn’t renewed. He has also worked at WRAL in Raleigh, NC, KWTV in Oklahoma City, OK, and WCHS-WVAH in Charleston, WV. He starts May 19.
