A skunk in Colorado Springs knocked, or sprayed, the local FOX affiliate, KXRM, off the air for a day.

The station posted a statement to its website describing the incident which happened around 8 pm. Sunday,

FOX21 News engineers said a skunk got into the transmitter room at the top of Cheyenne Mountain. The skunk burned itself on the equipment in the room and reacted by spraying the transmitter, causing the breaker to trip.
