Sioux Falls Station Hires Former Anchor as News Director

Jessica Brovold has been hired by Sioux Falls, S.D. NBC affiliate KDLT as news director.

“Jessica brings not only broadcast journalism experience, but a great knowledge of the area with ties to the community,” said GM Katie Haffeman. “She’s a great asset to lead the newsroom and she’ll help the station grow in our broadcast and digital platforms.”

Brovold starts next Monday, February 6.

According to her LinkedIn page, Brovold last worked in TV in 2010 when she was an anchor at KDLT. She comes from Avera, where she works as a marketing coordinator.
