Tom Burke has been named station manager of WUCW in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota.
“We congratulate Tom on his promotion to Station Manager,” said Steve Marks, Co-COO of Sinclair’s television group. “Tom has spent the last 24 years with WUCW primarily in sales and sales management roles. In the past year, he began working with our network sales group and has always proven himself a successful and innovative leader.”
Burke was named director of sales, network for Sinclair in January 2014. He worked that job while also working as senior account executive for the CW affiliate. In 2006, he worked as local sales manager, a position he previously held from 1998 until 2000. He started at Sinclair in 1991 as an account executive.
