Sinclair Appoints New GM to Syracuse Stations

Amy Collins has been named GM of Syracuse NBC and CW affiliates WSTM-WSTQ by Sinclair Broadcast Group. Collins will also oversee sales and non-programming related services for CBS affiliate WTVH. The three stations make up CNYcentral.

“Having grown with these stations over the past 15 years, I am thrilled to be able to lead this team into the future with a great company like Sinclair,” Collins said in a statement.

Collins started at WTVH in 1999 as an account executive. She was named national sales manager in 2000. Two years later, she became the local/general sales manager and was named VP and Director of sales at WSTM, WTVH and WSTQ in 2009.
