Seattle Weather Anchor Asks for Help Finding His Sister

By Kevin Eck

Tim Joyce, weather anchor for Seattle FOX affiliate KCPQ, is asking residents in the city where he once worked to help find his sister Emily.

CBS affiliate KVAL and NBC affiliate KMTR, have posted the plea for help from their former weathercaster on their websites and on KMTR’s facebook page.

Joyce said his sister Emily Joyce left her home last Thursday night and visited a friend in Lane County near Lorane on Monday. But he became alarmed when he said he got texts from friends about her.

“We have a report that she was last seen on MONDAY at a house-sit in a rural area SW of Eugene,” Joyce posted on facebook. “According to my source she was also in good spirits as well. I find this highly promising news.”

He thinks she may driven her burgundy Toyota Tacoma pickup towards the Oregon coast. Joyce said she is 36-years-old and graduated this year from the University of Oregon with a degree in dance. You can see a poster with more details after the jump.
