Warren Stewart has been named news director of E.W. Scripps’ Tulsa NBC affiliate KJRH.

“In just a short time, Warren has had a positive impact on our news team, helping 2 Works for You to be more aggressive to make sure we stay true to our mission of working for our viewers,” said vp and GM Amy Calvert.

Stewart has been the station’s interim news director for the past month, replacing Mike McCardel. Before working at KJRH, he was the ep at Scripps Cleveland station WEWS. Before that, he was assistant news director at WDSU in New Orleans and started his career as a producer at WOFL in Orlando, Florida.

KJRH also named a new local sales manager.
