Charlotte, N.C., ABC affiliate WSOC has named Scott Wickersham anchor of its 5, 5:30, 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts.
He’ll anchor with Erica Bryant, chief neteorologist Steve Udelson and sports anchor Phil Orban.
“He loves to work on investigative stories, and he flourishes on big story coverage,” said WSOC news director Julie Szulczewski.

Wickersham has worked at WSOC since 2005.
