Scott Schneider has been named weekday evening co-anchor for WXIX, the Fox affiliate in Cincinnatti.
Schneider joined WXIX earlier this year after 14 years at WFMJ in Youngstown, Ohio. Since joining WXIX, he has been reporting for the morning newscast as well as occasionally filling in on the anchor desk.
In his new role, Schneider will co-anchor the 6:30 and 10 p.m. newscasts alongside Tricia Macke, replacing Ben Swann, who signed off from WXIX in May. Schneider will work on WXIX’s investigative reporting team and on WXIX’s “Reality Check” segments.
