Scott Brown’s Reporter Wife Vows No Special Access

Addressing for the first time today husband Scott Brown‘s historic U.S. Senate win, Channel 5 reporter Gail Huff said she plans to keep her TV reporting job and wont be granting any interviews–including to her own station.

“I love my job at NewsCenter 5,” Huff said in a joint statement with the station released minutes ago. “It has been my professional home since 1993. I work with the greatest people in the business, and it would be difficult to leave them and my job behind.”

Huff, who has worked as a general-assignment reporter for WCVB-TV since 1993, didnt campaign for her husband and hasn’t reported on the race or any political news stories since September.

The station said today that Huff won’t be covering politics in the future. More…
