Scarlett Greyson Joins KTBC From KAMC

Scarlett Greyson is joining KTBC, the Fox owned station in Austin, next month. She will anchor the station’s new weekend morning newscasts, which will air from 6 to 8 a.m. beginning September 7.

Greyson was most recently a weekend anchor and general assignment reporter for KAMC, the ABC affiliate in Lubbock, Texas. She began her career with internships at “NBC Nightly News,” KTRK in Houston and WGHP in Greensboro, N.C.

FOX 7 NAMES SCARLETT GREYSON WEEKEND MORNING NEWS ANCHOR

AUSTIN – Scarlett Greyson has been named anchor for KTBC FOX 7’s “Good Day Austin Saturday” and “Good Day Austin Sunday,” announced the station’s Vice President and News Director, Pam Vaught. Greyson will anchor the new weekend morning newscasts, which will air from 6-8AM and debut on September 7th.

Most recently, Greyson served as a weekend anchor/reporter for KAMC-TV in Lubbock, TX. Prior to that, she completed internships for NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams in New York, FOX News in Greensboro, NC, and ABC News in Houston.

A graduate of Elon University in North Carolina, Greyson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism

KTBC FOX 7 is part of the FOX Television Stations group, one of the nation’s largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 28 stations in 18 markets and covering nearly 37.28% of U.S. television homes.  This includes six duopolies in the top 10 markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Washington, D.C. and Houston; as well as duopolies in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Charlotte.
