KNSD, the NBC owned-and-operated station in San Diego, has added four new reporters to the news team: Lea Sutton (pictured), Chris Chan, Dina Guevara and Nicole Gonzales.

Sutton, a former Navy fighter pilot who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, will be a reporter devoted solely to military issues. She joins KNSD from the NBC News Washington bureau, where she was a multimedia journalist.

Chan, who began his television career as a producer at CNBC Asia, will focus on business and the economy. He joins KNSD as a general assignment reporter.

Guevara previously hosted “Shades of San Diego,” a multi-cultural public affairs program on San Diego’s Cox Channel 4. She will be a reporter with a special concentration on the border and issues affecting San Diego’s hispanic community at KNSD.

Gonzales joins the station from KSL, the NBC-affiliate in Salt Lake City, where she was honored for her consumer reporting. The move to KNSD marks a return to California for Gonzales, who was a traffic reporter at KTLA in Los Angeles before moving to Salt Lake City.
