San Diego Station Names Morning Anchor

By Kevin Eck

Greg Bledsoe has been named co-anchor of the KNSD morning and 11 a.m. newscasts.

“Greg has worked really hard to sharpen his skills as a journalist since he joined our station more than 15 years ago,” said vp of news Greg Dawson. “He’s advanced his education to become a certified Meteorologist, helped encourage a culture of enterprising journalism in the newsroom, and continuously exhibits the character and professional traits that are akin to nationally-recognized journalists. It has helped him become one of the most well-liked people in our newsroom. I couldn’t be more proud than to see him take this next step.”

Bledsoe, who co-anchors with Marianne Kushi, has worked at the San Diego NBC-owned station since 2001.
