Telemundo Station Group is launching Telemundo 20 in San Diego on July 1.
The station group announced ‘Telemundo 20 San Diego’ will air a special 30-minute program called “Telemundo 20, tu nuevo noticiero” to kick off the launch. The 6pm show will feature interviews and behind the scenes access with the station’s news anchors and reporters.
The station’s full on-air debut will be on July 3, with newscasts at 5, 5:30, 6 and 11 – a total of 10 hours of local news every week.

Telemundo 20 will provide audiences in the San Diego and Baja California area in Mexico the local news, weather and sports.
The station’s launch comes after the affiliation agreement with Entravision ends this Summer.
