Richard Lemus Leaving Miami’s WSVN After 14 Years

By Merrill Knox

After 14 years at Miami Fox-affiliate WSVN, Richard Lemus is leaving the station to “pursue other interests,” according to the Miami Herald.

Lemus co-anchors the morning newscasts with Diana Diaz. He joined the station in 1998 as a general assignment reporter.

The Herald reports Lemus will be replaced by Alexis Rivera, who joined the station in April as a general assignment reporter. Rivera’s first day as co-anchor will be April 30.
