Joe Hengemuehler has been promoted to vp and GM of Raycom’s Tucson CBS affiliate KOLD.
“As News Director, Joe’s leadership was evident immediately.” said Brad Streit, group vp for Raycom Media. “Following Nick Ulmer’s retirement, Joe served as interim general manager. He quickly demonstrated his ability to grasp the job, lead on a broad scale and tackle unique problems and opportunities with sound judgment. He has earned the trust and respect of those who work with him.”
Before joining KOLD in 2015, Hengemuehler was Interim Communications Director for the City of Glendale, Arizona. He’s also worked as news director of KNXV in Phoenix, and KOCO in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and senior ep at WUSA in Washington, D.C.
