Erik Schrader has been named GM of Raycom-owned Cleveland CBS affiliate WOIO.
He’s been the GM at Raycom’s (earlier we referred to WIAT as a Raycom station — it’s not. It’s owned by Media General. We apologize for the inaccuracy) Birmingham, Ala. station WIAT since 2015.
Schrader started his career at KODE in Joplin, Mo. Before working at WIAT, he was the president and GM of KSNW in Wichita, Kansas. He’s also worked as news director at KSPR in Springfield, Mo., WJCL-WTGS in Savannah, Ga., WNEP in Scranton, Pa. and WTNH in New Haven, Conn.
