Public Trust in the Media Bounces Back From All-Time Low, Gallup Poll Finds

Good news for journalists everywhere: Americans’ confidence in the accuracy of the media has improved slightly after hitting an all-time low last year. In Gallup’s latest public trust survey, 44 percent of people surveyed said they had a “great deal or fair amount of trust and confidence in the mass media,” up from 40 percent in 2012.
