Som and Krystin Lisaius have been sentenced to one year of probation and suspended sentences of 30 days in jail in their child endangerment case.

The two were facing three charges each of child abuse, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia, after coacine was found in the system of their 4-month-old daughter. The two plead guilty to child endangerment. The other charges were dropped as part of the plea agreement.

The Arizona Daily Star reports Som Lisaius was also given 100 hours of community service, while his wife was given 20.

Krystin Lisaius told police she breastfed her baby after ingesting cocaine the night before. The couple took the baby to a local hospital after she became unresponsive.

Police also found 1.8 grams cocaine and a small black digital scale among other pieces of suspected drug paraphernalia in the house after obtaining a search warrant.

Som Lisaius was the crime reporter for Tucson station KOLD at the time of his arrest. Krystin had once worked at KGUN in Tucson.
