Police Report: LaGrone House ‘Extremely Clean’

By Kevin Eck

The police report that’s part of the Florida Department of Children and Families investigation into how West Palm Beach TV couple Katie and Paul LaGrone are raising their child is being reported by Gossip Extra.

West Palm Beach Police, along with the FDCF, came by WPTV investigative reporter Katie and WPBF anchor Paul LaGrone’s house last week after a neighbor reported the couple’s six-year-old son has been seen around the neighborhood unsupervised.

“(The house) had multiple toys and it was clean and free of hazards,” wrote a WPB officer. “The house was extremely clean and well stocked with food. Both Paul and Katie LaGrone were very cooperative and said they will be more restrictive in their parenting.”

“Due to their jobs as reporters, they are sometimes the target of angry subjects,” said the report, which added, “Paul LaGrone states that they have lived in their home for over two years and have no idea who could have reported this unfounded allegation.”

As for the allegations, they included the fact that the 6-year-old is known to wander unsupervised to a nearby pond occupied by several alligators.

The LaGrones told police the boy doesn’t go near the pond, which is more than 400 feet from the house.
