Police Chase Man Through Reporter’s Stand Up With ‘Perfect Timing’

By Kevin Eck

Adam Yosim, a reporter for WLEX, the NBC affiliate in Lexington, was doing a stand-up for an alleged harassment story he was working on. Just as he finished a take, by saying, “…perfect timing,” a man being chased by police, ran through his shot.

At first when I heard ‘Stop!’ from the officer I was a bit confused and thought someone was telling me and my photog to stop,” Yosim tells TVSpy. “(Then) I saw a bystander yell at the suspect and realized there was a foot chase underway.”

The rough cut video, posted by Yosin to his YouTube page shows officers eventually cuffing the man and placing him in a police cruiser.

Yosin added, “the police told us the suspect ran during a routine traffic stop.”
