Bill Anderson and Sean Bell are joining Philadelphia FOX owned station WTXF.
Anderson will be a weekend morning anchor and reporter. Bell will be the weekend sports anchor.
Anderson comes to WTXF from FOX TV daily local news show “Chasing.” Before that, he was the morning drive time host on 900AM WURD. He’s also worked as a panelist for WTXF on its “Black on Black” special.
Bell was a sports anchor for WCCB in Charlotte, N.C. Before that, he was an editor and photographer at WXII in Winston-Salem, N.C. He was also a sports reporter at KLBK in Lubbock, Texas.
“Bill is a Philly natural. He brings passion and perspective to everything he does,” said Jim Driscoll WTXF VP and news director. “He’s been an outstanding contributor to ‘Good Day Philadelphia’ and ‘#Fox29Weekend,’ and we are thrilled that he will be joining us full time.”
“There’s no greater place to cover sports than Philly. I’m so lucky that I get to come back to the northeast and report for such unbelievably passionate fans,” said Bell.
