Peter Daut will be joining Los Angeles CBS owned stations KCBS-KCAL as a weekend evening anchor.
The WSOC anchor wrote on his facebook page, “Exciting news: I’m returning to Los Angeles to anchor and report for CBS2/KCAL9. I start in September. It has always been my dream to cover the news in my hometown, and I look forward to this opportunity.”
Daut came to the Charlotte ABC affiliate in 2012 from KDFW in Dallas-Fort Worth, where he was a reporter/fill-in anchor. He started his career as a news writer for KABC in Los Angeles.
