Owen Jensen has been promoted to the weeknight anchor desk at KOLN-KGIN in Lincoln, the station announced on the 10 p.m. newscast Monday.
Jensen will anchor the 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts alongside Bridget Fargen. He replaces Dave Roberts, who left the station earlier this year. “We’re stuck with you and we’re happy to have you,” Fargen joked while making the announcement.
Jensen joined the station in 2011 as a videojournalist and weekend anchor. He has been filling in for Roberts since his June departure.
