Ben Handelman joins Milwaukee’s WITI, where he will anchor the Fox-affiliate’s relaunched weekend morning newscasts in addition to working as a reporter. Handelman comes to Milwaukee from WICD in Champaign-Urbana, IL.
Reporter Kirk Chaisson joins KRGV in Weslaco, TX, from Boise’s KIVI. Chaisson has more than 20 years of experience in TV news, including stops at Las Vegas’s KLAS and Anchorage’s KTVA.
Jesse Ritka has joined the weather team at Milwaukee NBC-affiliate WTMJ as a weekend meteorologist. She previously worked as a meteorologist and reporter for KDLT in Sioux Falls, SD.
Veteran reporter John McLoughlin, 68, is now working part-time for Albany’s WNYT, a NBC-affiliate. McLoughlin departed the local ABC-affiliate in January after 39 years with the station.
