WTOL Toledo traffic anchor, Joe Stoll, announced on Facebook that he’s no longer with the station.

“Life throws us all curve balls sometimes. Us TV people are no exception. Today, was my last day at WTOL. It was sad, but I leave with my head held high. It’s going to be weird not waking up with all of you tomorrow morning, but I know you’ll be in good hands,” he said on Friday evening.

Stoll, who is from Toledo, was with the Raycom-owned CBS affiliate in Ohio for at least a year according to his social media accounts. His bio has been pulled from the station site as of today.

“I’m sure my internal alarm clock will still go off at 2am.. so I’m ready for it. I hope that I’ve made your mornings a little better and full of energy. I’m going to miss so many things, especially all the police dispatchers I talked to every 15 minutes.”

Since Toledo is home and he also owns a flag store in the area, Stoll told viewers he plans to stay nearby.
