Ohio News Anchor Arrested on Child Endangerment Charges

Police have arrested WKBN anchor Dan Martin after he left his baby in the car while doing a quick supermarket shop near Youngstown, Ohio.

According to WFMJ, a woman heard the sounds of a baby crying from into a parked SUV outside a CVS.
The woman immediately called police saying the engine was running and the doors were locked.

The woman then went into the CVS and asking if anyone left a baby in the car. She found Martin at the back of the store, and he immediately ran outside. But it was too late, police were on the scene.

Police said Martin went into the store at 6:26 p.m. and finally came out 10 minutes later. He was arrested on chid endangerment charges.

According to the report, Martin said the baby was fussy and had just fallen asleep. He didn’t want to wake her.

Martin was released and issued a summons to appear in court on Thursday.
