NYC Mayoral Candidate Anthony Weiner Tries His Hand at Weather on WNYW

During a sit down interview with New York City Mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner on New York’s FOX Owned station WNYW,  “Good Day New York” anchors Greg Kelly and Rosanna Scotto gave the former Congressman a shot at a new career.

When Scotto asked Weiner if he would continue in public service if he wasn’t elected Weiner jokingly said, “I’ve always had this dream of doing weather and sports on your show.” She then escorted Weiner over to the green screen and told him to keep his options open.

“First of all I’m not good-looking enough to do this job,” said the former Congressman who was disgraced in a sexting scandal in 2011. “This is where the Mets play,” Weiner continued. “They’re doing Double A baseball right now. I’ll be doing sports next.”

Scotto brought the interview back to seriousland by pressing the candidate on what his future held. Kelly then joined the two at the green screen where things got a little heated after Weiner told Scotto he would win the election because he was not like the other candidates who were from, “the same muck of municipal government we’ve had for years.” Kelly quickly pointed out Weiner came from the city council and then Congress telling the candidate, “It’s not exactly Athens.”
