Nilda Rosario is joining WNJU, the New York Tri-State area Telemundo station, as weekend anchor.
Rosario will join co-anchor Yaima Crespo and weather anchor Janice Bencosme on “Noticiero 47 Fin De Semana,” on weekends at 5:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. Rosario will also work as a general assignment reporter on “Noticiero 47 Telemundo,” airing weekdays at 5:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.
“Nilda is an exceptional journalist who has amassed more than 17 years of experience reporting for New York Tri-State area communities and we are ecstatic that she is a part of the Telemundo 47 team,” said Cristina Schwarz, WNJU president and general manager.
Prior to joining the station, Rosario worked at WXTV, the New York Univision station, where she was weekday weather anchor, weekend weather anchor and morning show traffic reporter.
