Judson “Jud” Beck has been named VP and GM of WLAX-WEUX in La Crosse-Eau Claire, Wisc.
Before this, Beck was Midwest Director and GSM of Living Social. He has also worked as VP/Director of Sales for WXFT, VP/GSM of WFLD in Chicago and sales manager for both CBS Television Stations and FOX Television Stations, where he is credited with launching FOX’s national sales operation. He started his career in local radio sales in 1987.
“We are confident in Jud’s ability to take the next step in his accomplished career in providing the necessary leadership at WLAX-TV and WEUX-TV to build upon the local content and service currently provided to the viewers and advertisers of Western Wisconsin,” said Bill Sally, SVP and regional manager of Nexstar Broadcasting.
