Marci Daniels has been named VP and GM of Nexstar-owned Elmira NBC affiliate WETM.
Daniels comes to WETM from WEYI-WBSF in Flint. Mich. where she was GSM. Before that, she worked at WPTV in West Palm Beach as an integrated media sales executive.
“Marci is a well-respected leader who has consistently succeeded in developing highly effective sales staffs while providing elevated levels of service to the local communities she has served,” said SVP of Nexstar Broadcasting. Bill Sally. “We are confident that her valuable management and relationship building expertise will enhance the dominant leadership position of our broadcasting and digital operations as Marci will be taking the logical next step in her professional career.”
Daniels will also oversee the station’s digital subchannel and associated mobile and digital operations under MyTwinTiers.com.
