WHSV news director Kay Norred is out at the Harrisonburg, Va. ABC affiliate.
A tipster tells TVSpy, WHSV GM Tracey Jones told staffers “I need to let everyone know that WHSV will be making a change in the leadership of the newsroom effective immediately.” Norred’s bio has been removed from the station website. Here’s a cached version. Click here to view. In its place the station posted this at 9:34 a.m., “WHSV-TV Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a strong take charge leader for our news room.”
Norred has worked at WHSV since 2008. She’s also been a producer at WTSP in Tampa-St. Petersburg, Fla., WWSB in Sarasota, Fla. and has worked at WTXL in Tallahassee, Fla. and WEAR in Pensacola, Fla.
