New York Telemundo Station Adds Reporter From Milwaukee

WNJU, Telemundo 47, has added Cristina Navarrete as a general assignment reporter.

Navarrete comes from Telemundo Wisconsin and WDJT in Milwaukee, Wisc. She’s also worked at Soi TV and Radio Cosmos-Universidad Autonoma de Mexico.

Telemundo notes she is one of a growing number of bilingual journalists who have joined the Spanish language station.

“Cristina is a rising star who shares Telemundo 47’s deep-rooted commitment to the New York Tri-State’s Spanish-speaking families, neighborhoods and communities,” said vp of news Karen Mendez.
