Mark Parrick has been named assistant news director at New Orleans NBC affiliate WDSU.
Parrick comes from WDAF in Kansas City where he was executive producer.
“Mark’s talent, experience, and winning-attitude are a perfect match for the WDSU Newsroom,” said news director Akili Franklin. “I am very excited to see him in action.”

He started his career at WHOI in Peoria, Ill., before working at WHBF and WQAD in the Quad Cities. He’s also worked at WFLA in Tampa-St. Petersburg.
