NBCUniversal to Relocate LA News Operations, Including KNBC

By Merrill Knox

NBC Universal announced plans to relocate its Los Angeles news operations, including KNBC and KVEA, to a new state-of-the-art facility on the Universal lot next year.

In addition to NBC owned-and-operated KNBC and Telemundo-affiliate KVEA, the LA bureau for NBC’s “Nightly News” and Telemundo will be moved, according to the Los Angeles Times. The current NBC Universal building is in Burbank.

KNBC’s studio facilities were upgraded just last month as part of a rebranding effort at the station.
