NBC 6, the NBC affiliate in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale market, has promoted its weekend anchor to the weekday anchor chair.
Keith Jones will serve as the station’s 4pm co-anchor and also the main sports anchor and host of the local sports show, Sports Final.
“Keith Jones is a well-rounded TV journalist that tackles breaking news, in-depth reporting and sports with great passion,” said Migdalia Figueroa, vice president of news at NBC6.

Jones replaces Adam Kuperstein who made a move to New York over the Summer.
He joined the NBC6 News team in July 2012 and has earned several Emmy nominations. Prior to joining NBC6, he served as the morning and noon news anchor at WTSP, a CBS affiliate in Tampa/St. Petersburg
