My First Big Break: Keith Olbermann

Keith Olbermann may be best known for his stints at ESPN and MSNBC, but early in his career, he worked at local stations including WCVB in Boston and KCBS in Los Angeles. Olbermann’s broadcasting world view was formed much earlier, when he would watch local New York anchors Jim Jensen, Bill Beutel and Roger Grimsby. Then, an internship at WNYW put him on the path on TV stardom. And, as it turns out, the guy who gave Olbermann his “First Big Break” would give him another break later on.
