Deana Silk is set to sign off from KJRH, the NBC affiliate in Tulsa, in August. Silk has worked at the station since January 2005 and has most recently anchored the morning newscast.
“The past 10 years have been exciting, challenging… a dream come true! I have met so many wonderful people and have made lifelong friends. I will miss the crazy news business but I’m excited for a new challenge and new adventure with my family,” Silk wrote on Facebook.
Silk said her husband has accepted at job in Oklahoma City, and she is looking for a job and planning “to spend some extra time with my little one.”
