Monika Diaz Says Goodbye to WFAA

Monika Diaz is signing off from Dallas ABC affiliate WFAA, media blogger Ed Bark reports.

Diaz, a general assignment reporter, has worked at WFAA since 2007. She plans to return home to Miami to help care for her stepfather, who suffers from a rare brain disorder. Her last day will be December 3.

“Right now, I don’t know what the future holds,” Diaz told Bark. “But I do know that I love what I do. I’m exploring other opportunities.”
