Mike Mason Joins WFTX

By Kevin Eck

Mike Mason will join Fort Myers, Fla., Fox affiliate WFTX.

“WFTX made me an offer I just couldn’t refuse,” Mason told TVSpy. “That, along with the sunny skies offering 80 degree weather during winter months and the white sand beaches of Naples, Marco Island and Sanibel; how could I ask for anything more?”

“I am very excited to announce the return of Mike Mason to the Fox 4 reporting staff,” news director Eric Maze wrote in an email to staff. “Mike is a decorated investigative journalist who has earned a National Edward R. Murrow Award and several other prestigious honors over his nearly two decades in the TV business.”
