Chicago Fox-owned station WFLD has named Mike Caplan meteorologist for Good Day Chicago.

“I am eager to return to Chicago television and join the cast of ‘Good Day Chicago.’ I think my twenty plus years of Chicago forecasting experience will serve our viewers well,” said Caplan. “I look forward to providing our audience with a forecast they can rely on, with a splash of personality along the way.”

Starting Monday, December 28, he’ll work alongside Corey McPherrin, Darlene Hill, Richard Roeper, George Smith and Melody Melendez from 4:30 to 10 a.m. weekdays.
