Michelle Marsh is joining Washington, D.C. ABC affiliate WJLA as an anchor.
Marsh currently works for WRAL in Raleigh, N.C. anchoring the morning and noon newscasts.
WJLA news director Mitch Jacob told TVSpy, Marsh will co-anchor the 4 p.m. with Jonathan Elias on WJLA and the 10 p.m. news on NewsChannel 8, starting January 11, 2016.

One piece of trivia: Marsh’s sister Rene works at CNN in D.C.
Marsh started at WRAL in March 2012. She worked at WGCL in Atlanta before that. She’s also worked at WRGB in Albany, N.Y. and WIVT in Binghamton, N.Y.
