Adrianna Hopkins is joining New Orleans NBC affiliate WDSU as an anchor for the 5:00 and 10:00 p.m. news.

Hopkins comes from WSVN in Miami. She started her career at WRAL in Raleigh, N.C. She has also worked at WGXA in Macon, Ga. and WHAS in Louisville, Ky.

“Adrianna’s background is ideal for New Orleans,” said WDSU news director Jonathan Shelley. “She’s skilled and experienced at bringing home the big story, and as everyone knows, we have plenty of those here in NOLA. We’re excited to have her join our team.”
