Miami CBS Station Adds Morning Co-Anchor

Eugene Ramirez is joining Miami CBS-owned station WFOR as a morning co-anchor.

On Monday, January 23, Ramirez will join Lauren Pastrana, Lissette Gonzalez and Bianca Peters on the weekday morning show.

“We’re pleased to welcome Eugene home to Miami as a member of our morning team,” said vp and GM Adam Levy. “He brings a depth of knowledge and love for South Florida that we believe our viewers will recognize and appreciate.”

Ramirez is a Miami native who comes from WFLA in Tampa-St. Petersburg. He’s also worked for WSVN and WSFL in Miami-Fort Lauderdale. He was one of the original anchor/reporters for Orlando’s News 13 en Español and has worked as a guest contributor for HLN’s Showbiz Tonight, CNN en Español’s Showbiz, and CNN Newsroom.
