Meteorologist Dan Threlkeld Says He Was Forced to Exit KJRH Early

By Merrill Knox

With two days left to go until his last day at KJRH, chief meteorologist Dan Threlkeld says he was escorted out of the building at the Tulsa NBC affiliate Wednesday. He writes on Facebook:

Turns out I will get no “goodbye” on television. Management escorted me to the door this afternoon and said I was done there. I’m not making this up. So this is it … Thank you for allowing me to be in your homes. From the ice storm, to all those road shows, the weather specials, all those Weather Myths stories, the hundreds of school weather talks, countless hours spent in the weather center late at night while my wife worried about me, it was an honor to serve as Chief Meteorologist at KJRH.

KJRH general manager Donna Wilson declined TVSpy’s request for comment, saying she cannot “discuss any employee personnel issues publicly.”
