Meteorologist Britta Merwin is joining KPRC, the NBC affiliate in Houston, media blogger Mike McGuff reports.
Merwin most recently worked at KCRA, the NBC affiliate in Sacramento. Before that, she worked at NBC Weather Plus, CNBC, KNSD in San Diego and News 12 New Jersey.
At KPRC, Merwin replaces Idolina Peralez, who is “taking her career in a different direction,” according to McGuff.
