Meteorologist Arielle Nixon is leaving Des Moines NBC affiliate WHO, the Des Moines Register reports. Nixon is set to join WAWS, the Fox affiliate in Jacksonville.
Nixon joined WHO in 2012 as the station’s morning meteorologist. She will join WAWS as the weekend meteorologist, the Register reports.
Nixon, a Georgia native, began her career in television as an intern at WSB and WAGA in Atlanta.
